Our educators form a diverse, multicultural team. They are bright, enthusiastic people who genuinely love their job and view their role as a partnership with children and families.
All of our lead educators and teachers have early childhood education qualifications. Ongoing staff development and training ensure that the team keeps up-to-date with new learning strategies and are empowered to make informed choices.
“We have an amazing, diverse team here at Bruce who I take great pride in mentoring and helping to go above and beyond. We truly do support each other as we achieve great things for ourselves and our families. I personally love watching the children in our care grow and develop. Some of them come to us at just six weeks of age and don’t leave us until they are six years old, so we establish really strong bonds with the children and mutually rewarding relationships with the families."

What makes you passionate about working in child care? I am really passionate about child protection and I feel that this will always be my top priority! I believe that being the voice for the children when they cannot have or find their own is so important. Caring for them and ensuring they are safe and happy not only when they are in our care but when they leave to go home or when they are out in the community – that’s the most important thing to me. I believe that every child deserves to feel safe, happy and loved.
What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in child care? This is a hard one! For me, I felt that it was super special when I realised that the Centre Director at the service where I was completing my Certificate III Traineeship, turned out to be my preschool teacher 15 years ago!
Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best child care? I feel that our team of educators are really committed to creating positive change. They are working very hard to improve the environments around them and they are role modelling this hard work and positive attitude to the children. I can see the way that they love and care for every child that walks in the door of our service and their interactions and relationships with the children proves it to be true.
Fun fact about me: I never learned to swim or ride a bike!
